AUTOMEC planetary gearmotors type EP65 VCA – EP70 VCA – EP7090 VCA are designed for all those applications where a high torque, high efficiency and small size gearmotor is required. Those gearmotors offer together with a compact size, the possibility of torque transmission up to 120 Nm with a wide range of reduction ratios up to 1:21.600, driving with no problem all the possible temporary overload generated from the load applied into particular hard working operations.
Furthermore, AUTOMEC planetary gearunit offer a very high efficiency (90% per stage), allowing to obtain extremely favourable output torque/electrical power ratio if compared with other types of gearunit. They allow to reduce the electrical power needed, giving the possibility to save a large amount of energy, while offering the same characteristics of larger and more powerful gearmotors.
As per their particular design, all the planetary gearunits are always statically reversible regardless of the used ratio.

Hard wearing and noiseless

Single or three-phase AC motor up to 0.12 kW and voltages from 12 to 170 volts.
Coupled with a planetary gear unit designed to drive output torque up to 30 Nm for continuous operation conditions.
Motor and the gear unit are contained in the same steel tube.
Very good protection to the internal components from the penetration of dust, humidity or external parts.
Long life expectation, no servicing needed.

Single or three-phase AC motor up to 0.25 kW and voltages from 12 to 170 volts.
Coupled with a planetary gear unit designed to drive output torque up to 60 Nm.
Wide range of reduction ratios.
Extremely compact size.
High robustness for torque transmission up to 60 Nm into continuous operation conditions.
Self-lubricating sintered steel.
Gears manufactured, depending on the requested torque, with plastic materials, sintered steel or high resistance hardened steel.
Lifetime lubricated by means of special long-life grease.

Single-phase or three-phase AC motor up to 0.37 kW. and voltages from 12 to 170 volts.
Output torque up to 60 Nm for continuous operation conditions.
Larger diameter output shaft which allow to drive higher radial load and higher torque.
Different types of gearings allowing to drive torque up to 120 Nm.
Gear body manufactured with self-lubricating sintered steel.
Gears manufactured, depending on the requested torque, with plastic materials, sintered steel or high resistance hardened steel.
Long life expectation, no servicing needed.
